A Moment of Your Time Can Change a Life

We invite you to take a few minutes to read the stories shared here.

These are not just cases. They are the lived experiences of individuals who have faced circumstances that many of us cannot begin to imagine. Their stories reflect resilience, courage, and the difficult realities that too often remain hidden or unheard.

At EqualWorld, our goal is not only to raise funds and support those in need, but also to bring people together and raise awareness. By sharing these stories, we hope to encourage deeper understanding and compassion, and to remind ourselves that these issues deserve attention, empathy, and action.

Many of us are fortunate to live in safety and stability. Taking just 10 minutes to read these stories and share them with others can help shine a light on experiences that are often overlooked. Awareness is one of the first steps toward change.

Your time, your voice, and your support can make a meaningful difference.
Together, we can stand with those who need it most.

To support a specific case, donors may include the case reference code in their bank transfer description so that GSS can allocate the donation accordingly.

If you would not like to make a donation, you can send a message or a care package to these cases by emailing krishaabavisi@equalworld.org

All of the cases are anonymized to protect the integrity of the survivors, and the names are placeholder names.

The following stories contain descriptions of sexual abuse, physical violence, emotional trauma, neglect, and other deeply distressing experiences. If you have personally experienced any of these situations, please consider whether reading these accounts may be too upsetting. These cases are shared to raise awareness and empathy, but they may be extremely triggering for survivors. Reader discretion is strongly advised.
